Jackie Schian
With more than 25 years of experience spanning business management, customer service, operations, graphic design, and leadership, Jackie brings a unique combination of creativity, organization, and problem-solving to everything she does. Her career has evolved from leading design departments and running her own graphic design business to managing restaurant operations, supporting educational environments, and coordinating large-scale utility projects.
Currently serving as Assistant Manager and Front of the House Manager at Restore 242 Eatery, Jackie combines her passion for hospitality with her extensive background in business operations, customer service, and leadership. She oversees front-of-the-house operations while leading employee training, managing the restaurant's social media presence, implementing technology solutions, and developing marketing strategies that strengthen the restaurant's brand and customer engagement. Her focus on exceptional guest experiences, team development, and operational excellence helps create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.
Alongside her corporate career, Jackie is dedicated to serving her local community as support staff for Chesaning Union Schools, where she helps create a safe, encouraging environment for children while supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Leadership has been a consistent theme throughout Jackie’s career. She has managed restaurant operations, supervised design teams, trained employees, overseen production and inventory, coordinated sales and customer service departments, and successfully owned and operated her own graphic design company. Whether leading a team, managing budgets, solving customer challenges, or designing marketing materials, she thrives on bringing organization, efficiency, and creativity together.
Jackie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Administration from Baker College, complementing more than two decades of professional experience in leadership, operations, customer service, marketing, and business development. Her education has strengthened the practical knowledge and leadership skills she has developed throughout her diverse career, providing a strong foundation for strategic decision-making, team leadership, and organizational growth.
Her technical expertise includes Microsoft Office, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, SAP, Adobe Creative Suite, web design, social media marketing, and project coordination. Combined with exceptional communication skills and a passion for continuous learning, she adapts quickly to new technologies and evolving business needs.
Outside of work, Jackie enjoys CrossFit, coaching youth athletics, camping, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She is CPR certified and holds a Head Coach Certification through AOC Volleyball.
Whether in the workplace, on the volleyball court, or in her community, she believes in leading by example, building strong relationships, and making a positive impact wherever she goes.
