Meet The Sous Chef
Chanel Walton
Chef Chanel has dedicated more than 15 years to the restaurant industry, building a career rooted in leadership, creativity, and a passion for unforgettable food. After spending much of her career in restaurant management, she discovered that her true calling was in the kitchen, where she could combine bold flavors, fresh ideas, and quality ingredients to create memorable dining experiences.
Originally from Alabama, Chef Chanel’s Southern roots played a significant role in shaping her love for cooking and her appreciation for Southern and Creole-inspired cuisine. She first developed her skills by cooking for family and friends, experimenting with flavors and techniques while discovering the joy that comes from bringing people together through food.
Her professional culinary journey took a major step forward in Denver, where she earned an opportunity to cook at the University of Denver campus. From there, she continued to grow her career by joining local bar and grill concepts, helping revitalize menus, train kitchen staff, and elevate the overall guest experience. Along the way, she has been fortunate to learn from talented chefs and mentors who have helped refine her skills and expand her culinary perspective.
Now serving as a sous chef, Chef Chanel thrives in the fast-paced energy of the kitchen. She is passionate about crafting dishes that are bold, exciting, and full of flavor while inspiring those around her through teamwork, mentorship, and a commitment to excellence. Nothing is more rewarding to her than seeing guests smile, savor every bite, and leave with an unforgettable dining experience.
For Chef Chanel, cooking is far more than a profession—it’s her purpose, her passion, and the way she connects with others through exceptional food and genuine hospitality.
